This black romper by TopShop, will be my last summer outfit post since next week it will officially be fall. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for the new season and football! Fall and winter are my favorite months for dressing, since the weather is cooler. I think the accessories are so much better in the fall and I can’t wait to break out my riding boots and jackets.
Since I’m in Texas and it’s still fairly hot, I can’t break out the boots and sweaters, just yet. September is such a weird month for dressing since we are still experiencing weather in the high 80’s. When I spotted this black off-the-shoulder romper at TopShop, I knew I had to have it. Black is always chic and it’s off the shoulder, which is my favorite trend. Because this romper is long sleeves, I can wear it throughout the remainder of the month.
This black romper is all about the subtle details. I love that it is cinched at the waist with a bow and it has a trim around the shoulders. The shape is relaxed with a crinkled fabric and bell sleeves. It is definitely the most comfortable romper I own. I paired this outfit with my favorite Stuart Weitzman wedges since they are so comfortable. You could easily swap the wedges for flat sandals to give it a more casual look.
