Navy Shift Dress

This week I’m continuing my work wear looks with this navy shift dress. I always say dresses are the easiest thing to wear as it’s one piece of clothing to throw on and you can head out the door looking polished. This look today is perfect for the office, especially as it’s really starting to warm up outside. A shift dress is a classic silhouette for your workwear wardrobe.

This navy shift dress features a V-neck with silver details, so I decided to pair with it my silver kitten heels for a more sophisticated look. The shoes add a tiny bit of a flare, but still keep that overall classic look. Since I live in Houston and our spring/ summers are extremely hot, a sleeveless shift dress is perfect for the temperature outside when you’re heading to and from work. The belted sash helps to show off your waistline by cinching the waist, which is key especially if you have a fuller bust like me.

For some people, comfort is key and let me just tell you this is one of the most comfortable dresses I own. The fabric has a tencel material which makes it super soft with added stretch. Plus, the navy color is classic. I love any shade of blue and navy is one of my favorites for workwear. Not only do I love a classic navy dress for the office, but I must fully admit there’s nothing better than a man in a navy suit. The color is just that great. The best part is this dress is currently on sale for under $50 and the quality is so great you think it would be more.
