I hope you all had a lovely weekend! One of my good friends got married over the weekend and the wedding was absolutely beautiful. I love weddings in the fall and especially outdoors with the bistro lighting makes it even more enchanting.
We finally got a cold front in just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. When it gets chilly this time of year, one of my favorite things to layer with is a cape or poncho. As someone who is always cold, layering with a poncho not only keeps you warm, but it’s so cozy. It really feels like you are wearing an oversized blanket that is chic and fashionably acceptable.
With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up in a few days, this burgundy cowl neck poncho is perfect to layer over a long sleeved shirt or lightweight sweater. I paired my cowl neck poncho with a lightweight sweater from J. Crew and my new favorite Hudson skinny jeans, since there is plenty of stretch and perfect after you eat a Thanksgiving meal. If it gets too warm inside, I can easily take the poncho off.
