Black Faux Fur Vest

Happy New Year’s Eve! Can you believe 2016 has already come to a close? It seems that every year time just goes by way too fast, but I’m so excited for 2017 and to see what’s in store. This year consisted of accomplishing many personal goals, turning 30, traveling to a couple of new places, and the launch of this blog!

I’m going to dinner with friends tonight and then the Crystal Ball in downtown Houston, followed by brunch tomorrow and hitting up the annual mega sale at Dillard’s. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it. Everything on sale is an additional 50% off!

Although, I’ll be wearing a sparkly dress tonight, I know so many people that prefer to celebrate New Year’s Eve more low key. This black faux fur vest is the perfect option and it’s likely that you have many of these wardrobe pieces already in your closet.

I received this black faux fur vest last Christmas from my mom and it’s the best. It’s perfect when the weather is cold outside and goes with anything and everything. It’s a great, versatile wardrobe piece to add to your closet.

I paired this black faux fur vest with a green blouse from Zara, skinny jeans and my favorite over-the-knee boots. Even though you don’t need many accessories, because the vest speaks for itself, I added a skinny black velvet choker for a hint of detail.
