Happy Valentine’s Day! I apologize for being so MIA the last couple of weeks. I was sick with a terrible cold that might as well have been the flu, because it took over a week to recover and then Houston hosted the Super Bowl, so that was filled with fun celebrations.
Since today is Valentine’s Day, I hope you get to spend it with your loved one or friends. Every year, one of my close friends and I celebrate Galentine’s Day a couple of days before. This year, one of our favorite bands from high school came into town on Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, so we had to see them. They seriously always put on the best show and Chris Carrabba is so easy on the eyes! What made the concert even better was Vinyl Theatre was their opening act and I must admit, I may have liked them a bit more. They were incredible and we got to meet the lead singer after the show and he was the most humble, perfect gentleman. Fan girl moment!
Whether you are celebrating Galentine’s or headed to dinner with your beau tonight, I wanted to share a date night look that you can wear to dinner or cocktails. I actually purchased this lace-blocked dress for a wedding a couple of months ago and knew it would also be perfect for Valentine’s Day. It’s so feminine and the A-line silhouette is flattering on all figure types.
I fell in love with the delicate lace design because it adds an elegant touch to the dress. It’s somewhat cinched at the waist and the perfect length. I added a pop of color with a patent Saint Laurent clutch and bold red lip to add a statement. I can’t tell you enough how amazing this lace-blocked dress is and the best part is it’s on major sale, more than 50% off. Definitely grab this dress before it sells out!
