Ruffle Cold Shoulder Top

Happy October! The weather is finally starting to cool down in Houston. And when I say, “cool” down, I mean it’s been in the low 80’s (cue the sarcasm), but hey, I’ll take it. It’s been a nice change and slowly but surely, it’s starting to feel a little more like fall.

Over the weekend, I attended one of my dear, sweet friend’s baby shower. I couldn’t be more excited for her as she is expecting twins! It was also fun to catch up with old friends from college. The rest of the weekend consisted of lots of football, catching up on rest (last week was crazy busy!), and a movie night with friends.

You may have noticed from this post that I’m loving any cold shoulder top. I may be on the verge of slightly obsessed. This long sleeve, ruffle cold shoulder top was just too adorable for me not to grab. I love that it’s a blue and white pin stripe with shoulder cut outs, that goes perfect with denim. The ruffle detail adds a playful look to this tailored and clean shirt. I love any classic wardrobe piece that has a twist to it.

Even though I wore this ruffle cold shoulder top with jeans, I can easily wear it with this denim Madewell skirt and a pair of booties.
